Job Description:
The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for ensuring quality control throughout the production process, including raw material receipt, work in process, and finished products. The inspector performs visual and dimensional inspections and other tests to ensure products meet established quality specifications. Additionally, the inspector will identify faults in materials and manufacturing processes, conduct floor inspections of work in process, and use statistical methods to evaluate product quality. The role requires maintaining detailed logs and records, consulting with supervisors on quality issues, and ensuring adherence to safety standards in the workplace.

The ideal candidate should have 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing or quality control role, with a basic understanding of inspection processes and procedures. Familiarity with ISO-9001 and AS 9100 standards is a plus. Preferred candidates will have experience using traditional inspection equipment such as height gauges, calipers, and thread gauges. A strong attention to detail, along with the ability to perform precise measurements, is essential for this role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary, with a preference for candidates with a mathematics emphasis. Basic on-the-job training will be provided, and the ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs is required. The role demands mental concentration and the ability to focus on detailed tasks for extended periods.
