We are seeking an experienced **Electrical CAD/CAM Designer** with a strong background in electrical design, wiring systems, and schematic development. This position will support the design, documentation, and improvement of electrical systems by creating detailed wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and CAD drawings for industrial equipment and automation systems.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with electrical schematics, control panels, wiring layouts, and CAD-based design tools while collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are accurate, buildable, and meet customer requirements.
## Key Responsibilities
* Create and modify **electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical drawings** using CAD software
* Develop detailed wire diagrams, cable drawings, panel layouts, and electrical documentation
* Translate engineering concepts into accurate production-ready drawings
* Review and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
* Support electrical design changes and engineering revisions
* Work closely with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and manufacturing teams
* Assist with control panel design, wiring documentation, and component layouts
* Ensure drawings meet company standards, customer specifications, and industry requirements
* Maintain accurate revision control and documentation
* Troubleshoot design issues and provide recommendations for improvements
## Required Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in electrical CAD design, drafting, or electrical engineering support
* Strong understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
* Experience designing electrical systems for industrial equipment, automation, or machinery
* Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
* Experience with wire numbering, cable schedules, terminal layouts, and electrical documentation
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
