Perform MIG and flux-core welding on metal components according to blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards. Set up and operate welding equipment, inspect welds for quality, and maintain a safe and organized work area. Perform basic grinding, fitting, and finishing as needed.

Requirements

 

  • Previous MIG and/or flux-core welding experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and work instructions.
  • Ability to set up and safely operate welding equipment.
  • Knowledge of basic welding techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to inspect welds for quality, strength, and appearance.
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent weld quality.
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials as required.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
