Applications Engineer responsible for developing manufacturing solutions for custom medical, life science, and pharmaceutical components. Evaluates applications, supports injection molding/tooling and automation strategies, leads design-for-manufacturing activities, develops cost models and quotations, and supports prototyping and new-program implementation.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in applications engineering, manufacturing engineering, injection molding, mold design, technical sales, or a related technical manufacturing role preferred; medical device or other related manufacturing experience is a plus. 
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Plastics or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Visa Status: Authorized to work in the U.S. and eligible to work without sponsorship. Must be ITAR compliant (US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder)
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD software), alongside the ability to interpret 2D engineering
