  • Read and follow paint formulations and production schedules.
  • Measure, weigh, and add raw materials (pigments, resins, additives, solvents) into mixing tanks.
  • Operate mixers, pumps, agitators, and related manufacturing equipment.
  • Monitor batch quality, viscosity, color consistency, and production specifications.
  • Perform quality checks and record production data.
  • Move materials and finished products using forklifts or other material-handling equipment when required.
  • Clean tanks, mixers, and work areas between batches.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and environmental regulations.
  • Work with production, quality control, and maintenance teams to keep production running efficiently.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Manufacturing, chemical processing, paint production, or industrial mixing experience preferred.
  • Ability to work around chemicals while wearing required PPE.
  • Ability to lift 50–75 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in a fast-paced environment for long shifts.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends when production demands require it.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
