The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of materials throughout the facility, including storing raw materials supplied by the receiving department and distributing them to the Roll Department. This role is critical to our operational success and requires a strong understanding of inventory control principles, including First-In, First-Out (FIFO), shelf-life management, and maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy through our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Requirements
Receive incoming raw materials; verify P/N’s and product descriptions for accuracy, noting any discrepancies or damages.
● Perform accurate and timely inventory transactions within the company's ERP system for all material movements, including receipts, transfers, issues to production, and shipments.
● Strictly adhere to the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) methodology for all raw materials to ensure proper stock rotation and prevent obsolescence.
● Meticulously manage materials with specific shelf-life requirements, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and timely issuance to production before expiration dates.
