Communicates with suppliers and vendors to address quality issues, logistics bottlenecks, and recommendations on improvement. Coordinate with suppliers on deliverable specifics, including handling, special requirements, hazards, and instructions on use. Collaborates and coordinates with internal departments to develop new methods of evaluation and inspection on supplier deliverables. Documents and processes supplier metrics to utilize data in future analyses of evaluation methods. Documents all work and maintains a daily log. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or schematics. Strong troubleshooting skills. Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, data entry, production software). Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills required for interaction within the group, other departments and customers.
