Growing Manufacturing Company is seeking a motivated Machinist for a direct hire opportunity on the first shift, working full time, Monday - Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM with overtime available! Benefits package offered immediately upon start with company (may be 30 day waiting period). 

  • Primary responsibility is to machine parts through professional utilization of various machine tools and related equipment
  • Ability to work from and interpret, blue prints, sketches and verbally communicated requirements
  • Must be able to set up and operate Machining equipment
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience with setting up and operating machines; manual or vocational/technical schooling
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and background screening
  • Ability to read, interpret and operate from blueprints and the ability to apply practical knowledge to execute machining operations
  • Trade or Technical School preferred
  • General shop math skills are required
  • Ability to set up and operate CNC machining equipment, while minimizing down time
  • Ability to work from and interpret, blue prints, sketches and verbally communicated requirements
  • Ability to read and use measuring instruments, such as Verniers, calipers, micrometers, bore micrometers, with a full knowledge of their application
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours a day
