Directs, supervises, and coordinates the activities of the fab shop personnel to provide an uninterrupted workflow engaged in all facets of the fabricating function.

Works within schedules and estimates, monitors costs and expenses, and recommends methods to improve quality, safety, and workflow.

Schedules/coordinates work schedules and gains approval for overtime efforts

Requirements

Reviews plans and provides resources for handling, welding, assembly & testing

· Recommends and coordinates maintenance, upgrading and/or replacement of machines.

QUALIFICATIONS

· 5 + years of previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

· High School or Vocational/Technical School graduate

· Prior experience with Fabrication, Welding, and Rigging functions preferred
