Set-up and run CNC routers – Utilizing KOMO CNC router machines plus others. Properly communicate with management to resolve machining and scheduling issues. Maintain safe work practices and an orderly and clean work area utilizing 5S procedures. Understand LEAN manufacturing principles. Read blueprints and interpret mechanical drawings. Proper use of Micrometers and Calipers for inspection. High attention to detail and be able to self-motivate. Minimum of 3 to 7 years’ Vertical Machining Center (VMC) experience. Must be able to lift 55 lbs. properly. Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions, a must.
Requirements
Ability to work independently and solve problems and to perform 1st piece inspection. Other qualifications not required, but a plus: CNC router experience preferred but will train the right candidate. Some CNC programing ability – MasterCAM preferred. Saw operation experience preferred. Knowledge of plastic preferred.
HS Diploma or equivalent. 3 years-CNC Milling. 1st shift 4-10hour days
