Assembly of prototypes per written or verbal specifications. Hands-on experience soldering, wiring, crimping, and connecting electrical hardware. Work with the Engineering staff to assist in identifying issues, improving practices, and troubleshooting problems. Follow test procedures and document results. Work with the engineering team to develop, fabricate, improve, and maintain manufacturing test and assembly fixtures. Follow processes to evaluate performance and validate device functionality. Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment. Work alongside engineers to complete root cause analysis to the assembly and part/component level.  Knowledge and capability in the safe usage of hand & power tools, including machine shop skills (mill and lathe experience desired). Regular direct interaction and support of the on-site engineering teams.
