Manufacturer in Watertown, MA is looking for a Press Brake Operator.  This is a contract to hire opportunity working full time, Monday through Thursday from 6:00am-4:00pm. This position is paying $30/HR+ for a candidate eager to grow with a company long term.

Job Duties:

  • Set up and operate a hydraulic press or punch for routine established work within a sheet metal machine shop manufacturing environment
  • Has the skills required to setup a press brake
  • Has the skills to consistently form parts to close tolerances
  • Capable of performing self-inspection
  • Fully Literate in blueprint reading

Requirements

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience setting up and operating press brake machines
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. without assistance
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to read schematics/ engineering drawings
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours a day
