Will set up and operate Mori Seiki and Okuma Howa CNC Lathes or Star CNC swiss machines 

  • Upload an download machine programs from file server
  • Review prints and Traveler information to make parts
  • Gather tooling and fixtures for the job
  • Set up machine with chucks and fixtures for job
  • Run first piece to ensure proper set up - communicate with Quality dept
  • Perform inspection of finished parts using measuring tools
  • Document production run information 

 

Requirements

  • 3-5 yrs machining experience
  • Programming knowledge preferred
  • Previous lathe set up and operation experience 
  • Ability to read prints and use measuring tools
