Position Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating CNC milling and CNC lathe machines to produce precision metal parts based on specifications. The role may also involve using manual equipment such as bandsaws or belt sanders. Operators must understand supplied documents, monitor the machining process, and make adjustments (when permitted) to ensure high-quality output.

Essential Functions:

• Operate CNC mills or lathes to produce parts.
• Monitor machine performance to ensure product quality and output.
• Maintain and adjust equipment/tooling as required.
• Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications.
• Report production issues or non-conformities to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with the machinist or supervisor to make process adjustments.
