  • Performs general production activities to ensure efficient, consistent production of high- quality products.
  • Safely operates molding machines or expansion machines.
  • Inspects finished or in-process products against company standards and specifications for irregularities or rejects.
  • Ensures compliance with regard to raw materials, manufacturing processes, and housekeeping.
  • Troubleshoots machine or quality issues.
  • Maintains documentation and performs administrative tasks relevant to plant operations
  • Collaborates with shift supervisor to understand and develop training needs, structure and individual progress for the assigned shift.
  • Ensures work area is maintained in order and is free of items, carts and machinery not in use to mitigate safety hazards and maintain good housekeeping practices.
  • Performs other job-related duties as required and/or assigned.

Requirements

  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience machine operation
