Micro Tech seeking a qualified Maintenance Mechanic with experience in machine preventative maintenance, repair, troubleshooting electromechanical systems and equipment within a fast-paced Food Manufacturing environment.

This position is full time, Monday - Thursday, 6:00AM-3:00PM with overtime available during the busy season. Starting pay is depending on experience starting at $28.00/HR. +

Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding of packaging equipment in manufacturing environment
  • Repair, install, upgrade new and existing equipment
  • Preventative Maintenance on all production equipment
  • Machine changeovers
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment performing essential job duties
  • Experience working in a GMP &/OR SOP environment experience Required
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Works independently
  • Read/write in English (Spanish a huge plus)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Proficient knowledge of electricity, plumbing, conveyors, hydraulic, pneumatics and shop tools
