Essential Duties
*Reads sketch or router for specifications such as dimensions, tolerances and tool number
*Positions and secures tools in holders
*Lifts work piece manually or with hoist and positions/secures work piece in holding device, machine table, chucks, centers or fixture
*Sets rotation speed, feed rate, depth of cut and positions tool in relation to work piece
*Starts machine, turns hand wheels to feed tool to work piece and engages feed
*Turns valve handle to direct flow of coolant against tool and work piece
*Observes cutting action of machine
*Verifies conformance of machined work piece to specifications
*Computes unspecified dimensions and machine settings
