Production Manager needed for growing Manufacturing company in the South Shore area of Boston.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Bachelors Degree. Technical background preferred. MS or MBA a plus.
10-15 years of manufacturing experience in medical devices manufacturing. 7 years in a manufacturing management position with responsibilities for daily operations of a facility.
Responsibility for direct labor departments, with experience in all aspects of hourly employee management and leadership.
Proficient knowledge and application of ISO 13485 system requirements.

Manage the day to day shop floor activities to meet the highest quality standards and customer satisfaction.
As a service provider to internal and external customers, support the day to day business requirements to assist in delivering best in class quality and on-time delivery.
Manage two shift manufacturing operation including setting direction for all hourly employees, Supervisors and Floor Leads.
Work within the established company-wide quality documentation system, including key aspects such as change control, calibration, validation and training.
Develop and maintain metrics to drive continuous improvement and meet customer expectations.
Finance – work with the Finance team to develop and manage budgets, labor, OT and COGS. Manage monthly budgets, drive cost reduction and deliver EBITDA objectives for the business.
Identify, qualify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and / or increase capacities for the business.
