Job Description: Actively lead the safety program to promote safety, health, and industrial hygiene awareness. Conduct annual employee training on OSHA regulations and safe work behaviors. Ensure all HCS and GHS are maintained and communicated. Conduct safety training for new employees, temporaries, and contractors. Maintain training records for regulatory compliance. Responsible for the completion of all regulatory reporting requirements. Ensure environmental files are updated and timely. Assist with updating staff on new regulations and assessing impact on operations. Coordinate industrial hygiene program with plant certification guidelines and work closely with quality departments to unify efforts to maximize results. Develop programs and topics to enhance safety communications by shifts and reward positive contributions.
