Perform accounting functions in the areas of financial reporting, general accounting, fixed asset and property accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. To provide senior management with a resource of financial and accounting knowledge. Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial reports and quarterly reports for parent company consolidation. Review reconciled balance sheet accounts for general ledger accounts monthly. Prepare periodic analyses of cost and revenue accounts. Serves as the accounting liaison for MRP system knowledge base and training resource. Assist with intra-company cost/revenue reconciliation. Work with operations departments in the development of improved ERP system processes. Responds to inquiries from senior managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests. Ensure a clean and timely year end audit and all financial reporting deadlines are met. Provide training to new and existing staff as needed. Supports management with special projects, budget and forecasting activities. Responsible for cash management; preparation of weekly cash flows and credit line borrowing. Ensures the annual budget and monthly forecasts are completed accurately and on time. Ability to work on complex accounting and reconciliation problems.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent job related experience, Preferred Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience required• At least one year experience with MRP systems • Standard cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
