Technical expectations: Needs to have some CNC Machining comprehension or experience with CNC's would be preferred. Troubleshooting process experience and programming; Must be able to read the CNC Program, recognize the issue (mostly will be sensors issues), see and read the ladder logic and read the HMI. Must be able to read blue prints as well!60-70% - Process improvements, new tooling resolutions and writing procedures.
Environment: Manufacturing for the automotive industry; heavy steel and assembly lines. CNC Machines in the plant. Most of this position is spent in an office environment. (30% on the plant floor)
Interviews: Prefers an in person interview (phone will be case by case); sits with a team (HR, Operations Manager, Machining Manager and an engineer). Plant tour is conducted unless there is not enough time.All tools, uniforms safety equipment is provided by the company, must have steel toed boots.
