Woburn, Mass (1-11-10)—Micro Tech Staffing of Woburn, a regional office of Quincy- based Micro Tech Staffing Group, has announced the promotion of two employees  

Carma Rorke, of Haverhill, has been named director of sales, and Susanne Madison, of Clinton, has been named senior recruiter

Micro Tech Staffing of Woburn provides temporary staff placements in light industry, manufacturing and engineering for businesses in the Merrimac Valley region  It specializes in serving manufacturing companies from the North Shore to the Merrimack Valley, with special emphasis on Peabody, Woburn, Lowell and Lawrence

“Carma Rorke and Susanne Madison have had tremendous success in placing skilled temp workers in this difficult economy and have earned these promotions,” said director Jamie Fennessy

Micro Tech President Joseph Donahue said his firm, which hosts offices in Quincy, Woburn, Medway, Danvers, Stoughton, Hopedale, Londonderry, New Hampshire and Providence, Rhode Island, has seen a growth of 50% between the low of the recession in 2008 and the most recent quarter  “The staffing industry is considered an economic bellwether because we generally see an increase in demand for skilled workers six months before businesses seek to expand,” said Donahue “I feel a growing confidence in the local business climate for the coming year”
